GRAHAM MILWARD

Graham Milward, co-founder of Eton Associates Limited, has a long term background within the control systems industry, both in engineering and management roles. His position at Eton Associates covers the development of the company's control system business.

Immediately prior to forming Eton Associates, Graham spent four years with Landis and Gyr as a divisional manager charged with forming the Corporate Contracts Division. This division was started to develop the major contracts business of Landis & Gyr, and was instrumental in the selling, engineering, installation and commissioning of contracts at Ludgate (£1,200,000) and the Waterloo International Terminal (£2,000,000).

Prior to Landis & Gyr, Graham was Divisional Director with ISS Clorius, where he was responsible for the Commercial Division which handled contracts from selling to completion with values of up to £2,000,000 (Legal and General Kingswood). Over a six year period the divisional turnover increased from £750,000 to £6,000,000.

The initial 16 years of Graham's career was spent at Satchwell Control Systems, where he held numerous positions starting as an apprentice rising to Sales and Services Manager, Building Management Systems.

JAMES WARD

Jamie Ward, co-founder of Eton Associates Limited, has a long background within the building services sector of the construction industry. Jamie's role within the company covers the development of design services, project management, commissioning and the commissioning management activities of the company. In addition Jamie operates the overall man-management function of the company.

Prior to forming Eton Associates, Jamie worked for the Ove Arup Partnership at the Castle Mall Shopping Centre in Norwich. His responsibility at this very novel construction project was for design and commissioning management. Jamie was largely instrumental in driving this contract to a successful completion leading to the centre opening to customers on the due date.

Before his spell at Ove Arups, Jamie worked for Lehrer McGovern International as MEP Project Manager engaged on the construction of Canary Wharf for Olympia and York. His role on this prestigious project was as the owners' representative for the design management, procurement, installation and final commissioning/handover and acceptance for all Life Safety Systems, Building Control Systems and Security Systems. In addition, Jamie was responsible for ensuring the compatibility of the systems with the associated building engineering services.

Previously, Jamie was contracts manager of the commercial division of ISS Clorius Limited for five years. He was responsible for contracts from acceptance of order to final handover to the client. Divisional turnover during this period rose to £6,000,000 per annum.

In addition, Jamie worked for five years with Honeywell Control Systems Limited as a commissioning engineer gaining experience in pneumatic, electronic, DDC controls and motor control centres.
